Light bulbs between seat`s (tunnel)??

I changed the heater matrix in the car last monday, and when i took the center plastic bit on top of the tunnel up i found some bulbs, one just by the gear-selector (alone) one for the cigaret lighter, and it doesnt seem to be light in the Diff. engage thingy?
Question is, the bulb @ the selector, where does it belong?
AND, is there light in your diff. thingy? and i dont mean the button with diff on it

Sounds like you are describing the bulb which illuminates the ash tray?

Ok, could be it, just seem to be a little short tho, could try to pul it a bit?

You shouldn't need to pull it. Maybe you could post a pic so we can get a better idea?

I have to take the thing apart again then and i havent got the bulbs yet

Any idea about the diff lock plate thingy?

If you are asking if the quattro drive train diagram surrounding the diff switch is back lit then the answer is yes, well at least it should be.
